Piping Design
Teck provides piping design for industrial facilities to various piping codes such as ASME B31.3, B31.9 and B31.1. We use industry recognized software which allows us to complete the designs in a 3D environment that provides ergonomic design and minimize interference, as well as provides piping isometric drawings that fully incorporate bills of materials.
Teck provides thermal expansion modeling of piping systems to make sure anchors are appropriately located and sized to ensure stress levels are code compliant and piping loads at equipment connections are minimized.
We perform detailed hydraulic simulations for our piping designs that are optimized for energy efficient operation. Control schemes are incorporated early in the design stage to ensure reliable operation of the system.
