Teck redesigned this 30 tonne capacity log handling crane for Alberta-Pacific Forest Industries located in Athabasca, Alberta. This damage tolerant design features fatigue resistant connections and low temperature steel for operational use down to minus 40°C. The design incorporated a step down arrangement between the trollies with an electrical building located on the cab trolley. The total weight of the crane is approximately 550 tonnes.
