Vibration Analysis
Teck provides vibration simulations and analyses for mechanical and electronic equipment, and structures that require vibration control. Computer simulations are carried out in 3D to determine the effective mass and stiffness of the equipment and the modes of vibration. This service is performed for new equipment, at the design stage, or existing equipment depending on the clients’ need.
Vibration measurements are taken to determine the magnitude of the vibration and their corresponding frequencies. The results provide a solid basis for corrective measures that can involve modifications to the equipment or structures for effective vibration isolation.
